2007 Rewind
This has been one hellavu year. Through the ups and downs, heartbreaks and new friends, accomplishments and failures, this has been the greatest year of my life. It has been such a good year that I will break down every month for you guys.
January
January starts off a new year, and this past January was the start of new friendships. In my communications class I met 3 solid people that I'm friends with to this day. Meagan, Jennifer, and Isidro. Meagan is one of 8 kids (2nd oldest, has 4 sisters, 3 brothers), she's really smart, and was homeschooled. She is super conservative, because she comes from a very religious family. She's very good at reading drama. She just has that great dramatic voice you see in plays. She could be an actress, in my opinion. She's 20, year younger than me. Then there's Jennifer. She's 25, but she looks 20. She was in and out of school since high school and finally finished getting her AA this past semester. She is going to transfer to Stanislaus. She talks a lot, but it's the good kind of talking a lot. Like you don't mind at all that she likes to talk. Very friendly and cool person. Then there's "Mr. Late" Isidro. That dude is always late to everything. He's a good guy though. He's 24, and like Jennifer, he just got his AA last semester. He is going into ministry. He has come a really long way. He used to be this weed smoking, binge drinking, careless attitude person. Now he's this soft-spoken, religious addict, late to everything person. He looks like he could be 20 too. They are great people. I'm really glad I'm friends with them. This is the same month that I watched my absolute favorite move Children of Men. I'm pretty that me, Shaun, and Matt watched it in January. I can't remember. The movie just had such an impact in the way I look at movies and life itself. Now let's move on to Feburary...
February
A couple big things happened in this month. I did ask Zahiry to be my Valentine, but of course, that didn't happen. I'm pretty sure she was aware that I liked her. I don't know. When I told her the first time I said I would get over it if she wasn't interested. Obviously I never did. That's a whole different story. I got my mom a rose and a mug with a dog for Valentine's Day. i did get to finally meet Sofia. She was from Newman, in this same month after I met her she moved to Fresno. I met her best friend, Jenny. Basicaly what ended up happening was when Sofia moved and got a boyfriend, I replaced her with Jenny and we became really close friends. Of course, I'm still great friends with Sofia. It's just that her actions in this month of February opened the door to a very strong friendship. Pretty sure that was all for this month. On to March...
March
This is the month I briefly went out with Tiffany. That was forgettable. Oh so forgettable. I realized at that time that I ended up settling for a girl with no drama and had basically no dreams in life. Good thing we had a mutual break up. We are still friends. I'm pretty sure we broke up in April. There's nothing else to say about this month, really. With that said, let's go to April...
April
Me and Tiffany broke up in this month. That's pretty much it. I started my playoff beard in this month. That ended up being super effective as my Anaheim Ducks won the Stanley Cup!!! With that being said, I'm moving on to May...
May
May was seemingly pretty crazy. I had finals. I somehow passed Chemistry. Well, when a C is 55%, how can you fail? Jasmine went through some relationship troubles that if she actually went out with the guy, then I wouldn't be friends with her. Fortunately, she came to her senses and didn't go out with him. Just the thought of her touching him makes me sick. This is the month where me and my dad went to go see Spider-Man 3. I saw a guy laying on the side of the road and we saved him. So that was cool. I saved a life. At the end of the month, I finally shaved my playoff beard. That pretty much seals what I did for May. Let's move on to June...
June
June is the month that I applied to Nob Hill. They even gave me an interview, but they never called after that. I was pretty down for a couple days when I realized they wouldn't call. That really hurt me. Mackenzie Jensen died in this month. She was really nice. Never thought she was better or worse than anyone. She treated everyone equally. I went to her candle ceremony. I keep thinking that happened in July, because we messed with fireworks that day. I think. I'm not sure. My birthday is in the month of course. Here were the myspace birthday comments left to me:

In this month I went to Comic-Con. That was a lot of fun. Me and Shaun got to see the Heroes cast, literally 30 feet in front of us. It was awesome. We got to see the The Simpsons and Futurama panels. The Boondocks was hilarious again. We didn't get as much free stuff, because we were so devoted to staying in line for what we really, really wanted to see. We saw my favorite actor Clive Owen. I was excited about that. Kate Beckinsale was looking fine! Jessica Alba was looking super fine! Shaun got a good look at her. I wasn't as lucky. A swarm of people got around before I could take a gander. Me, Shaun, and Matt went and looked at colleges too. We checked out University of San Diego, UC San Diego, and San Diego State. I HATE it when Shaun calls it CSU-SD. Freaking call it SD State, SDSU, or San Diego State. That's what everyone else calls it. Why does he have to use the complicated acronym? All great campuses, by the way. So July was a pretty sweet month. Let's move on to August...
August
I started school in this month. It sucked. I hated this past semester so much. This is the month where I infamously got played by Vanessa (view post 8/11: I Got Played). If there was a time my heart was broken I think it was that time. I broke down that day. When something finally seemed to be right it all went wrong. I really thought this could be the girl that could get me passed Zahiry, but she erased that idea. Thank God she did, now that I look back on it. Bitch. Ok, let's move on to September....
September
I looked through blogs and such to refresh my memory and this month sucked. It seemed to be unimportant and uneventful. How sad is that? Whatever. I guess I should just move on to October...
October
I think October was another month where nothing really happened. I was really focused on school, and not hanging out too much. This was a month where Zahiry left me ridiculously long comments on myspace. That's when I started to realize to not go after Meagan, because she wasn't the right girl for me anyways, and finally work hard on getting the girl I've wanted since what feels like forever. That's what October gave to me. This sets up the greatest 2 months of the year...
November
Let's start this month off small. Alan threw a small Halloween party at his house. He threw it because Kassandra was sick on Halloween and didn't get to wear her Halloween costume. She was a bee. Andrea was Dorothy, Kent was Leatherface from Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Chubbs was a 50s Greaser, Josh was The Crow, and I was a broken down businessman. Oh, Andrea is Kent's gilfriend, Kassandra is Andrea's best friend, and Alan wants Kassandra. I want to pause and acknowledge what I think was a really great year for Kent. He has a girlfriend that everyone likes as much as he does, he's really got everything well put together. He has work and school wisely planned for next year. He had a great 2007. Ok, back to me bitches. I spent the whole night talking to Zahiry, and the next night we did the same thing again. This time I typed in 'i like you' into yahoo messenger after she logged off. The next day she asked me about it and November 16 will live in infamey to me. We expressed our feelings to each other and rightfully decided to take it slow. One of the Saturdays in this month was spent at Renee's house. Renee was a girl in my comm group. Us, and 3 others had to make a board game. Me, her, and Lacee were at her house to make the board game. That was a fun day. I liked hanging out with Renee. She's a really cool person to chill with and eat Taco Bell. We always wanted to go to Taco Bell. I'm gonna miss that group. We had great chemistry, and had a lot of fun together. We were easily the best group in the class. After Zahiry and I shared how we felt, my ways changed. I went home early when hanging out with the bros just so I could talk to her. I still do this. I want to do this. So let's move to December...
December
It has been a December to remember. Me and Zahiry had our first date. I went to her house and she made us enchiladas. We gave each other our Christmas gifts. I gave her gloves, a sweater, and 2 letters that I wrote for her. The sweater was too small. She gave me 2 ordament balls that she made for me. One has a picture of her in it, and the other has cool designs on it. I really liked it. She really liked the gloves. I remember one night while on the phone I really expressed myself to her. I don't know what came over me, but next thing I know I explain why she makes me a better person. hristmas was good. I got a acoustic guitar. Andrew needs to teach me a few things. I also got Seasons 1 & 2 of It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia. I'm thrilled about that. And I got a couple much needed long sleeve shirts.
Random Stuff
A lot of crazy stuff happened this year to people close to me. Joseph got all emo, because of some stupid fat chick. Josh got fired from Coast to Coast, but he works at TA now. I opposed the ways of Alan when he went after women. He found a good one in Kassandra. I was kinda disappointed in him when he went after her again, after she rejected him the first time for her emo ex boyfriend. I think only because I'm a guy who only gives one chance. I can't see myself giving Zahiry one chance. I don't know. We'll see. Bubba met Kalyn and lives with her now. I predicted he would propose to her on Christmas. I don't know if he did. I'm not ruling it out until I have confirmation that he did or didn't. Joel broke up with Alana. Wow. Shaun still hasn't changed, and he needs to if he wants to have a better social life. Brother Matt is kicking ass. Evan is getting by. Andrew is unemployed in Turlock. Matt Dudys is doing his thing. Chubbs is loving the post-high school life. He needs to stop smoking. I forgot to mention this in one of the months, but Ria is pregnant and now married. That's pretty cool. I like hanging out with Moises' family. They are so calming. It's so different from the usual crew I hang with. The crew I hang with is constant insults and never any silence. I don't mind that at all. I'm just glad that all my friends aren't the same. But Josh, Alan, and Chubbs are basically the same person now. Joalubbs is what I should call them from now on. I almost got in a fight in front of a Denny's. I saw a lot of fantastic movies this year. I wanna do a video blog about it. So this all sums up to be the greatest year of my life. I'm glad I'm sharing it.
