One Month Anniversary
Something I've been doing badly on lately is counting. I thought I was 2 away from 100 posts, but this is apparantly the 98th post. There is 1 important # that defines the 16th of December. That # is 1. I'm trying to be creative here by putting the #s in #s instead of words. See what I mean? Is it working for you? Probably not. So why does the #1 have significance on this 16th of December, you ask? Well, I learned around midnight today that today is the 1 month anniversary of when Zahiry and I told each other how we felt. I didn't know I was suppose to keep track of that. I found out in a weird way. Minding my own business online, and Ashley comments me on myspace saying today is 1 month anniversary. She was on the phone with Zahiry when this happened. So yeah, maybe when we are official I don't have to keep track of this day. Or do I? I don't know. I'll find out when Janurary 16 comes around.
Since Zahiry doesn't read this blog I'm going to share with you her Christmas presents. I went with Evan last Tuesday to JCPenny's and bought some gloves.
So after that we walk around the mall and check out a couple stores. We are leaving Hot Topic and plan to leave the mall when we run into Ashley and Kiashira. I point out the nice gloves I bought for Zahiry and they both say, "That's all you're getting her?!" I respond, "Well, yeah. We're not even offical. I just wanted to get something small." And so next thing i know i'm getting an earful about how i should walk down to this store called Wet Seal and buy her a sweater. I was seriously forced. I don't know how I got talked into this. Evan probably doesn't even know how I got talked into this. So we go to Wet Seal and take a look at the sweaters. I'll be honest with you guys. The sweaters looked tacky. I'm no fashion expert on women's clothing, but these sweaters did not look bueno. But there was this one sweater. Evan and I both noticed it, but it looked too nice to be on sale for $15. So to make sure, I went and asked one of the girls that work there. She wasn't sure either, so she went and did a price check for me. Sure enough, the sweater was $15. Price is not that much of a factor, but I wanted to make sure I was getting a good deal. I woulda $30 tops for that sweater. I bought the sweater and this is what it looks like.
I've asked Allan, Ashley, Melanie, and Evan of how this shopping turned out.
Allan: Gloves are nice. The sweater looks really good.
Ashley: WOW!!! Well then I'm impressed!!! You even got the jacket to match the gloves!!!! Aww she'll love it David!!! GOOD JOB!!! (exact words)
Melanie: You should do my shopping for me.
Evan: The gloves are nice, and you got a sweet deal on the sweater.
