4th Of July Weekend

I'm watching Die Hard on FX yesterday and when I changed it to that channel the Dish thing said "battery remote low". I take the cover of the remote off and the brand of batteries inside were Die Hard batteries. Coincidence? I think not! For the record, the batteries and the movie have nothing to do with each other, except for the name.

4th of July weekend was everything I expected it to be. Saturday was my graduation party. We ate and played cards. Then we went to the canal and blew bottles up with fireworks. Then we played Halo 2 at Anthony's house. His sister killed it though.

On Sunday, I went to Josh's house. We played DBZ Sagas and then X-Men Legends. After that, we got some piccolo petes and got a Monsters Inc. toy. Sully to be more specific. That bitch wouldn't blow up, so we blew up a gallon water bottle and a pretty big detergent bottle. The gallon water bottle flew from the middle of the street to the Longoria's lawn. It flew over a car to get there, so that made it extra cool. The detergent bottle made an extremely loud noise and went straight up into the air.

4th of July was aight. I wake up, shower, eat cereal, and go to the park. Joel and Alana happen to be the first people I talk to. By golly they weren't the last. I saw Tyler and we walked around for a little bit. He told me he was getting a tattoo. Then he left. I went to the 3-on-3 Tournament and said hey to Eugene. Him, Kent, and their 2 friends from Ripon were in the tournament. They got 2nd place to the undefeated Isaias, Jasen, Daniel, and JV. I talked to Ashley for a little bit. Then Jared showed up and he talked about his college adventures. After the tournament I went home.

I went to Shaun's house and watched Enter the Dragon on his new flatscreen tv. That was awesome. We were in the front of his house ready to walk to the fireworks show and we see Kent with his sister and his girlfriend. Matt and Shaun said hi to Kent. I said hi to all 3 of them. It's out of respect I did that. We walked over there and stood in front of the tennis courts. Joel and Alana came over to say hi to us. Then Jared came over and said hi to us. Matt's parents brought over his tripod, so he could take pictures. The finale was so horrible. That was the worst finale I think they've ever had! I went home after that. That was my 4th of July weekend.
