Don't Tread On Me

If you hang out with me a lot, then you know that I've been using the term 'don't tread on me' a lot lately. I am going to explain why I do.

I got the term 'don't tread on me' from my favorite comedy, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia. That show is so hilarious. If you haven't seen it, then you need to catch an episode. It's on FX on Thursday at 10 eastern. Here is the scene in the episode when Charlie from the show uses 'don't tread on me'. It's in the episode "Charlie Goes America All Over Everybody's Ass". Scratch that, the video isn't on youtube anymore. This angers and confuses me. I will check myspace then. Oh baby, I found it:

Now here are some flags. This first flag is know as The Gadsden flag. It is a historical American flag with a yellow field depicting a rattlesnake coiled and ready to strike. Positioned below the snake is the legend "DON'T TREAD ON ME." The flag was designed by and is named after American general and statesman Christopher Gadsden.

This second flag replaced the first one by the current Stars and Stripes flag. Since the Revolution, the flag has seen times of reintroduction as a symbol of American patriotism.

The Gadsden flag has become an important symbol to many libertarians. A Gadsden flag was presented to the town manager of Killington, Vermont, by a representative of the Free State Project after that town's 2004 vote to pursue secession from Vermont. The Free State Project has also adopted a unique version of the Gadsden Flag as the flag of their organization. Their flag bears a porcupine rather than a snake, as the porcupine was chosen early on as a mascot of the Free State Project.

There is your history on 'don't tread on me'. I hope you learned something today. I love using that term.

How To Save A Life

I hate the fray. I really hate the fray. I hate them so much that I won't even capatalize their name. Me and my dad help save someone's life back in May when we were heading to Turlock to watch Spier-Man 3. Here is the story:

We was driving to the movie on 140 and I saw a guy lying on the ground on the side of the road. I freaked out and told my dad to turn around and pull over. So we pulled over and kept him conscious until the ambulence came. Luckily, a few more people pulled over cause we had to keep his head tilted and someone had to talk to 911 to find out where we were. He tried to commit suicide by drinking bug poison. I guess some lady he loved left him. He was old like in his 60s. But you know how suicide people are they realize it's a bad idea after they attempt it, so they cling to life. It was pretty crazy. He's laying there and i'm holding his hands making sure he doesn't die. Quite an experience.

That's the story in a nutshell. I can be descriptive, tell you what people were saying, and so on, but I'm too lazy to do that.

Sick College Plan

I was pretty sick the last 3 days. I'm in good shape now. The only thing I got left is a stuffy nose. Anyways, I'm gonna talk about my transfer meeting I had with a transfer counselor. It turns out I can transfer to Stanislaus State next semester. I think I'm gonna pass on that. The way I could do this is if I take Biology, Philosophy, Communications, Health, and Political Science. That's too much damn work for one semester. I know me better than anyone, and I know there is no way I can handle that many classes. I suck at science, so biology is out of the question next semester. With that said, I'm looking at Philosophy, Communications, Health, and Poly Sci next semester, and in the fall I'll take register for transfer to Stanislaus State, while taking the final Communications class available, Biology, and Statistics. I will get my virtually useless AA in Communications Studies, transfer to Stanislaus State, move to Turlock, and get that Bachelor's degree. That's my plan. I like it. No one can convince me otherwise.

Probably No Confessions 5

I said that I was going to post a Cofessions 5, but I'm having too much trouble with it. I don't think I have anything left to confess. I do have personal life issues I would discuss as a for a post, but no confessions 5. I don't normally post 2 blogs on the same day, but hey, I'm treating October 1 like a special Blah Blah Blog holiday. I'm probably gonna post later today to talk about my appointment with a transfer counselor. I'm pretty sure I gotta take biology and health, then I can get the hell out of Merced College. Plus, I gotta take 2 more communications classes, so that I can get my AA in Communications Studies. Score. I'm so close to 100 blogs, then that's it. No more posts on this blog. I have made it official that when I finish this blog I will start a new blog, but it will be a video blog. I've been addicted to making videos lately. It's fun. That is all. Ok, I'll be posting later about my transfer meeting, and I'll post again for the hell of it. Enjoy.

Screw You, Pokerstars!

So I joined a pokerstars tournament with Josh and I got knocked out early. I am freaking pissed. The guy that went all in didn't have much more chips than me and I had KQ off suit. I call his all in and he has 34 suited. I have him dominated! On the flop he pairs his 4, but I get a flush draw. I get the flush on the turn, but it's a 3. Then he hits a full house on the fucking river. What the hell is that? Seriously. That never happens in real life, so leave it to a computer program to fuck me in the ass in poker. Screw pokerstars. I'm not gonna play it for a long time now.
